310,000 Steps in October

In October we decided to set ourselves a challenge and walk 310,000 steps to raise money for Angels and Rainbows. We also invited the general public to join in on the challenge as well. As it had been a very tough year for us all, we knew that we needed something to raise our spirits and also to get outside in the fresh air to improve our mental wellbeing.

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of people that wanted to take part in the challenge. Followers of our group set up their own donation pots and invited their friends and family to make a donation. We were blown away by the generosity of everyone. Most of the participants also documented their journey, sharing on social media videos of them walking and how many steps they had done each day. We sent out t.shirts to those that were taking part in the challenge and certificates to those that completed the 310,000 steps.

As a whole, we managed to raise nearly £1500 for our group!

We would like to thank everyone that took part and those that donated, we really are grateful for your support. The money raised will go towards our care package for families that have suffered a pregnancy or baby loss and also a memorial tree for our angel babies.
