Natasha raises £605 for Angels and Rainbows

To mark the third heavenly birthday of her little girl Emilie, Natasha Newman and her family decided to walk from Gorleston, where Emilie was born, to Lowestoft, their home to raise money for our group Angels and Rainbows.

“After Emilie died I couldn’t find any local support but after we had Louie I discovered through Facebook an amazing lady Justine had set up a group in the area, I joined the group and it changed everything. I found the support that I’d needed, I have met so many amazing parents and through the group met people who have helped me cope with the awful anxiety I’ve had over the last couple of years. The money raised will go straight to this group to help support families, pay for private counselling sessions and towards our meetings.” - Natasha Newman

During the walk Natasha and her family placed pebbles along the beach with the names of some of the angel babies of parents within our group. We already have had some messages from people that have found the pebbles.

We are all so incredibly proud and amazed by Natasha’s generosity. The idea of the pebbles means that we can continue to spread the word about baby and pregnancy loss as well as remembering our angels.

Natasha’s aim was to raise £300 for the group but has gone way passed this target and has raised over £600.
